Online Ordering Questions
How much will shipping cost?
Our shopping cart system can calculate shipping costs to most places in the world if you simply enter your address. You can choose from Canada Post, UPS or Fedex shipping. This shipping amount is clearly shown before any payment information is requested and you may cancel the order if you are not happy about the cost. Note - we can not calculate and quote shipping costs over the phone. For large weight orders please email your shipping address and products required to our Internet Sales office to get a shipping price quote.
How long will it take to ship an order to me?
We can generally process orders within 7 business days. However we are in the surplus business which means products can sell out very quickly. Sometimes we are able to locate more stock and sometimes not.Click here for Canada Post & UPS shipping time info.
Can I place an order for pick up?
You sure can. Just select the pick up option when checking out and your order will be made available for pick up at our store (directions). Our Internet Sales staff process orders Monday to Friday 9 AM to 5 PM. When your pick up order has had the stock picked and the paperwork has been processed then the Internet Sales staff will contact you (usually through email) to let you know that you can come in the store to pick up your order. Once your order is ready for pick up you can come in to our retail store to pick it up anytime our retail store is open (store business hours). Just let our cashiers at our front counter know you have an online order ready for pick up and one of the managers will retrieve your order. For security reasons we require that you show a piece of photo ID so that we can be sure that it is you (and not someone else) picking up the order.
Do you accept Visa or MasterCard debit?
You can pay using Visa or Mastercard debit if you select the PayPal payment option (not the Payflow option).
Do you ship C.O.D.?
No, we do not ship C.O.D.
Why was my credit card not accepted by the Payflow or PayPal payment system?
To protect our customers and ourselves from credit card fraud on the internet, we use the AVS (address verification system) to match credit card numbers and security codes with customers.
In order for PayPal and Payflow to confirm that you are the authorized credit card owner the address you provide must EXACTLY match your credit card billing address.
If you find that your credit card is being rejected by Payflow you may choose to pay as a PayPal guest. As a PayPal guest you may use Visa, Mastercard, Discover or American Express.

Do you accept purchase orders?
No, we do not accept purchase orders. We accept only VISA, Mastercard, PayPal and International Money Orders as payment.
I don't have a credit card, can I still place an order?

Yes, you can send an International Money Orders as payment. At the 3rd step of the order process you can select to place your order by "mail order or fax." Simply click this print off the order form and send it in your international money order.
Who is responsible if my government charges me taxes or duties?
Nobody likes taxes and government fees. However you are obliged as a citizen of your country to pay charges imposed by your government. Note that it is illegal for us to ship your purchase as a gift.
I do not live in Canada. How much will Canadian dollars be in my country?
Do you accept American Express, Discover or other credit cards?
We accept VISA, Mastercard, PayPal and International Money Orders as payment. If you choose PayPal payment they can process your Discover or American Express card.
The shopping cart will not work with my computer. What do I do?
In order for the Shopping Cart to keep track of your items "cookies" need to be enabled on your web browser. To enable cookies in Internet Explorer do the following: Tools - Internet Options - Privacy - Set to Medium to enable cookies in Firefox do the following: Tools - Options - Privacy - Cookies - Accept Cookies.
What is your warranty policy? How can I return a defective product to you?
I tried checking out using Payflow and my country got changed to Burkina Faso?
We are still trying to investigate why this happens with certain users. We would appreciate it if you can contact our webmaster and provide the browser and operating system that you were using at the time this happened. If you are not sure what browser you are using you can use this website to tell you which browser your using.
In certain cases we have found that if you go back to step 1 of the checkout process this will solve the problem. Otherwise we recommend that you use the more reliable PayPal option. You do not need a PayPal account to use the PayPal option.
I would like to save the items in my shopping cart, how do I do this?
To save the items in your shopping cart you need to:
1. Add the products to the shopping cart
2. In the upper right corner of the screen you will see the word Login. Click on the link.
3. If you are a new user you will have to create an account, if you already have an account you can login
4. After logging in or creating an account you can then scroll down to cart administration. Click on the phrase Cart Administration
5. You can then choose a name for your saved shopping cart and the number of days that you wish to save the cart up to 365 days
6. Click on the Save this cart button to complete this process
I added an item to the shopping cart, now how can I check out?
At any time while shopping the View Cart link in the top-right corner of the screen may be clicked to complete your purchase.
How do I place an order online?

To place an order online go to the webpage and add the product desired to our shopping cart.
If that is the only product you are ordering you can proceed to the checkout by clicking on the checkout button. You will then be asked for your address information. This information will allow Canada Post, FedEx or UPS to calculate a customized shipping cost to your location.
At the 2nd step you can review your order.
At the final step you can either:
- Click the blue Pay Using Credit Card or Pay Using PayPal buttons to transfer to the PayPal/Payflow website for payment
- Click the blue button marked Pay by fax or international money order to print your order for mailing or faxing
I don't trust the internet. Can I print out and mail or fax an order to you?
Step 3 in our new online shopping cart presents the option of either paying online or printing your order. Once printed you may fax or mail the order to us.
